About

We're building inventory software
for the people who actually count.

Restaurants run on what's actually there. Not what someone said was there last Tuesday.

i.

The clipboard never made anyone a better operator.

For decades, the back-of-house has been managed on sticky notes, spreadsheets that nobody updates, and "I'll do it after service" promises that never get kept. The cost shows up in waste, in stockouts, in a Sunday morning at the walk-in trying to remember what was there on Friday.

This is a solved problem in every other industry. Restaurants deserve software that respects them.

What we're building.

Kohtac is mobile-first inventory management for restaurants and food service. Track items across locations. Submit and approve counts in seconds. Get AI-grade insights without becoming a data analyst.

The product is built for the line cook with sticky hands, the GM in a cab between locations, and the owner who just wants to know what to order on Tuesday.

iii.

Where we are.

We're in preview. Native iOS and Android apps are running daily in real kitchens. The web app launches at app.kohtac.com shortly. We're shipping fast, listening hard, and not raising venture capital to do it.

If you operate a restaurant and want to count what matters — join the waitlist. We'll be in touch.

What we won't do.

A short list of operating principles, written down so we're held to them.

i.

No per-seat pricing.

Counting items shouldn't cost more if your sous chef helps. Pricing is per location, flat.

ii.

No "contact sales."

Every price will be on the pricing page. If you can't see it, we don't charge for it.

iii.

No data hostage.

Your items, vendors, counts, and history are exportable any time. We make the product good so you stay.

iv.

No dashboard pile-on.

One useful insight beats ten widgets. Signal over noise — across the whole product.

Built for operators. Not analysts.

If this sounds like the inventory software you've been waiting for, we'd love to count you in.
